Creating positive parenting partnerships amongst parents and staff is one of the many important objectives of Mustard Seed Learning Center.  When parents are active in their child's education, optimum learning is much more likely to occur.  For this reason, we believe that fostering a positive partnership with parents will strengthen and move our classrooms and center toward a higher level of excellence in the care and education for our children.

What does all of this mean in terms of benefits to the families we serve?  We, at Mustard Seed Learning Center, are committed to enhancing the lives of the children and families that we so attentively serve with compassion and professionalism that is incomparable to current market standards.  Having your child in a family-oriented facility where they will be nurtured and supported in such a way that promotes positive self-esteem, develops character, and provides opportunity for optimal growth in all areas of development, equates to a piece of mind in knowing that you have chosen the right place for your little one to spend their time when you cannot be with them.

MSLC Features and Benefits at a Glance

Exceptional Academic Program  Our program prepares children for future learning success in kindergarten, primary grades and beyond. It also emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Foreign Language through Immersion  Teaching a foreign language through immersion is one of the best ways to teach young children a second language in order to achieve fluency and to better prepare them for the global society that we are becoming.  Spanish and Mandarin are currently our languages of choice.

Global Enrichment Program  The children will learn about our great, big world by studying different cultures in different parts of the world and learning about children their own age from different countries.  They will gain an appreciation for our differences, while learning about cultural diversity.

Health and Wellness Program  (which includes our 'Yoga for All' segment)
Children (and adults) will learn new and fun ways to promote good healthy habits in eating right, staying active and staying fit for life.

Parent's Night Out Childcare  This program rewards our dedicated, hard-working parents with their own special time out to unwind and re-charge as their little one's are being cared for by trained and reliable caregivers.

Sign Language instruction (ASL) - 'Seedling Signing Time'
Sign Language allows hearing enabled children to experience learning in a multi-sensory way where all learning styles are supported.  It also allows children to communicate their wants and needs when they have not quite mastered their verbal ability to express themselves.  For all children from birth to preschool age.
